Atlanta's most July 3rd 10K! Sixty runners will pit their grit and guts against one another and their city in motion, on an open course in sweltering temps. Race and rage Atlanta as it is, warts and all.
If you'd rather append to a 60,000-headed monstrosity shambling its bloated, flag-spangled saddlebags toward a corporate pat on the head, wait a day. Otherwise, get in with us while the getting's good.
The route is Buckhead to Piedmont Park, via Peachtree and 10th. First place male and female get a homemade peach pie and a fine beer. All finishers each get peaches and beverages. Combat is joined at 7:30 p.m. sharp on July 3rd. Registration with a sweet shirt is a mere $25. (Race another 10k the next day in your Road Rage shirt and get us a picture, and you’ll get a secret prize.)
Every cent of the proceeds goes to the National Hospice Foundation, so Americans at the end of life may have the liberty to pursue comfort and some measure of happiness with dignity and grace.
